Einar Vilberg is an Icelandic vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. As the founding frontman and primary songwriter for alt-rock band NOISE, Vilberg has released eleven studio albums, earning international critical acclaim from Rolling Stone & Metal Hammer Magazine, with numerous top spots on national charts.
Operating out of his Reykjavík studio, HLJÓÐVERK, Einar Vilberg is an active songwriter, record producer, engineer, and session musician. Known for his expansive 4 octave vocal range, Vilberg solidified his standing as a world-class vocalist when he was selected as a top finalist from over 40,000 global applicants to audition as the new lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 in Los Angeles.
